FUJIHARA KIYOMI
Kiyomi is a young woman of short stature. Her skin is a sandy beige tone, with her cheeks holding a slight rosy tint at almost all times. She wears her hair in a half-up, half-down style with the ends reaching mid-back. Her bangs are angled slightly to fall in a v across her forehead, the tips settling between her brows, with feathered sections framing her face. The longest pieces end just below her collar bones. Her hair is a deep onyx tone, and holds a natural shine to it. Her eyes are a light jade shade, with a slightly darker olive shade around the pupils.•Body Type: Mesomorph

Kiyomi's wardrobe is eclectic, as are many pirates' own. She tends to lean towards a deep maroon poet shirt with bishop sleeves, often paired with a high waisted skirt or trousers. Around her waist, she ties an emerald silken sash which doubles as her sword belt for Mamushi, the blade she wields.For formal events, she tends to stray more towards the traditional side of clothing- formal cheongsam or kimono, if the event is appropriate.
Regardless of the clothing she wears, there is always some form of snake symbolism within the outfit, whether woven into the fabric or found within the jewelry she prefers to wear.
Captain of the Sapphire Serpent
Kiyomi enters the Grand Line shortly after Suma is forced off of the ship, leaving behind her sister. She, and her crew, begin their journey through the dangerous waters, sailing from island to island. At times, news would reach her of something her siblings had done: Junpei becoming a Captain, for example.Kiyoko would send letters occasionally, or call when she found the time. They kept in contact the best, really; Kiyomi continuing to update her twin about what was happening where she was.Everything seemed to change after two years, however, when she was approached...New Crew
Ayame had requested to meet Kiyomi in Sabaody. Kiyomi agreed, in which she met with her aunt and cousins in the Archipelago ( around the time Suma was landing in Alabasta, three weeks before she met the Strawhats. ) When asked, Ayame explained that there was something she needed to accomplish, and taking her children along would be too dangerous.Kiyomi accepted Itsuki, Izumi, and Kai onto her crew with open arms. Itsuki became Kiyomi's new navigator, Izumi- her carpenter. Kai would be learning the ropes from Kiyomi herself, along with the rest of her crew- a twenty-six strong membership.Rumor Has It
A month after beginning their journey, rumors began to spiral about Mizuki being spotted with the Buggy Pirates- and of Suma being seen with the Strawhats after Alabasta. Kiyomi put no real stock into either of these rumors at first. Her attention was trained elsewhere: finding the treasure her ancestor left behind. Yet, no such treasure would be found...Mission Impossible
The next time the Fujihara Pirates are spotted, it is at Sabaody Archipelago once more. They are seen spread out across the Archipelago for over a week. Kiyomi had docked there to garner information regarding the apparent defeat and capture of Ayame, much to the shock and horror of the family. There, she met with Shakky- who informed her that yes, Ayame had been there. She'd remained after they all had left to talk with Rayleigh. He had been her Captain, after all.What was said? She didn't know. They spoke in private.Cue the chaos caused by the Strawhats. Kiyomi, Itsuki, Izumi, and Kai were present in the Auction Hall when the Strawhats arrived to save their friend. Kiyomi only noticed Suma after she'd decided to make her escape- and asked Suma to rejoin her to save Ayame. This was the first Suma had heard of Ayame's capture. Nothing else could be said due to the arrival of Marines. Kiyomi left with her crew, which split in half to aid the Kid Pirates and Heart Pirates in their escapes- and fights. Kiyomi took Izumi to the Kid Pirates aid, while Itsuki took Kai to the Heart Pirates.They all escaped, albeit bruised and beaten.
Marineford
Nothing good comes from Marineford for the Fujihara family.\Kiyomi, having caught wind of Whitebeard’s Plan, met with the infamous Captain and agreed to help in the effort of rescuing Ace- only due in part to her aunt, and his former foe, Ayame, was sentenced to be killed directly after Ace’s execution. A double execution- for the son and the gunner.When they arrived at Marineford, Kiyomi’s plan went astray due to Mizuki being present. Kiyomi and Mizuki entered into a fight after Mizuki called out to her from the Big Tip- having convinced Alveda that YES, they need to go get Buggy. Mizuki leapt aboard the Sapphire Serpent while Kiyomi yelled for Itsuki, Izumi, and Kai to get off and find Ayame.They obeyed.A Fight Between Sisters
Kiyomi and Mizuki begin their battle, with Mizuki yelling that she had waited for this moment for years. The fight ensues with Kiyomi striking out- only to miss, turn, and be met with Mizuki lunging. Mizuki, in their years apart, had obtained the Hebi Hebi no Mi: Model Viper fruit, which left her with an advanced attack speed and serpentine-like movements.Mizuki, in the end, cuts off Kiyomi’s left hand- though, not all the way, leaving it hanging on by mere tendons. Kiyomi, in an act of enraged desperation- as her ship is on fire, the Big Top is starting to catch fire, the Summit War is happening all around them and something tells her that this is only the beginning- cuts off her own hand the rest of the way.Kiyomi is then met with a man stepping onto her ship. The newly appointed Warlord, known as the Wolf of the Sea- Captain of the Volk Pirates, Malekai Kuznetsov. Having heard of Malekai’s barbaric ways, Kiyomi began to plead for her life. He motioned for his First Mate, Hestia, to kneel in front of Kiyomi. He offered to help her! Cauterizing the bleeding stump, Hestia clamped her hand over it, allowing for her palm to heat, and heat, and heat- until Kiyomi was screaming and begging as her flesh was burnt.It is unknown how she escaped; some say a bullet got Hestia in the shoulder, though shot from who- is unknown. Kiyomi escaped as the Sapphire Serpent, the legendary ship, sunk.TIMESKIP
During the Timeskip, Kiyomi vanishes from the radar. Truth be told, she returned on her aunt's vessel, the Vermilion Viper, to Janoshima, in which she was hidden away by Kiyoko. She spends the entirety of the timeskip on Janoshima, healing her wounds, with her first mate- Odessa.

Kiyoko is a young woman of petite stature in regards to height. Her skin is a sandy beige tone, with a small smattering of freckles across her nose that her sister lacks. She wears her hair down majority of the time, with the long strands parted to the right, and the ends reaching mid-back. Her bangs are long, feathering down her cheeks and ending just above her collar bones. Her hair is a deep onyx tone, and holds a natural shine to it. Kiyoko, due to sitting on the Throne of Janoshima, more often than not wears the traditional clothing of kimono, often in deep hues of green or gold. This is paired with traditional geta and tabi. Her statement is a chord with a metal serpent in the center, holding it together, of which she often ties over her obi.
Regardless of the clothing she wears, there is always some form of snake symbolism within the outfit, whether woven into the fabric or found within the jewelry she prefers to wear. She is always seen with a ring on the left middle finger of an ouroboros- a snake eating its own tail.
Empress of Janoshima
Kiyoko took over the throne from Ayame as a temporary seat, something that was not supposed to be permanent. Even so, Kiyoko took her duties seriously, spending days within council meetings, tending to the citizens and their woes or worries, handling the imports and exports. On occasion, she would send a letter to her twin to keep her updated on the work being done in Janoshima, and to receive updates on what Kiyomi herself was up to.Kiyomi never told her of what she did to their youngest sister.Wars with Serpents
While word had reached Janoshima of the capture and subsequent imprisonment of Ayame, Kiyoko had sent word to Fleet Admiral Sengoku, explaining the ramifications of what had occurred. He offered for her to come in person if she were so worried about the well being of her aunt- a wanted criminal who confessed to her crimes. In response, she sent a box that arrived the day before the events of Marineford, placed upon his desk. Within held a gift.A snake, beheaded, with it's venom contained within a vial, and a letter stating to:
"Drink up."The Death of Ayame
The events at Marineford would not reach Janoshima for days. Knowledge of the fight between Mizuki and Kiyomi spread like wildfire, along with Kiyomi's disappearance. Kai was nowhere to be found. Mai had escaped with members of the former Whitebeard Pirates. Junpei had been injured but survived. Suma was not present; currently marked as M.I.A. Jun'Ichi made his surprise reappearance, along with Crocodile's ship. Itsuki had apparently been grabbed by the Heart Pirates and escaped with them-and Izumi arrived on the southern shore of Janoshima after flying through the air for three days and three nights, having been hit by Bartholomew Kuma.Izumi was brought in to Kiyoko during a meeting in which news of the events of Marineford was being delivered. She had them pause so that Izumi could explain what he had seen in better detail: Mizuki cutting Kiyomi's hand off, the appearance of Malekai, the chaos of the war- before he was gone.It was then that the news broke of Fujihara Ayame, the former sharp shooter for the Roger Pirates, former Empress of Janoshima, direct descendant of the Pirate Empress Yukiko-
Had been killed by Sakazuki Akainu at Marineford, sacrificing her life for the son of her captain's life.In the days after, Janoshima entered a month-long mourning period for Ayame. Despite Kiyoko sending a demand for Ayame's corpse so that she could be put to rest, her request was denied.One year after the death of Fujihara Ayame, Janoshima officially broke connection with the World Government, slaughtered the Marines who had been stationed on their shores, and set fire to all seven marine vessels.

FUJIHARA JUNPEI
Junpei is a tall, broad man in his early thirties with forest green colored eyes and long, dark hair that he keeps tied back in a half up, half down style. His skin is a sandy beige tone, with a soft smattering of freckles predominately over his shoulders. Both ears are pierced once, and gauged from when he was younger. He, unlike his siblings, does not have the birthmarks beneath his eyes. Rather, they sit above both eyebrows, almost mimicking eyebrow piercings. He holds a scar across the top of his forehead from an incident shortly before the death of his parents. On his left wrist sits the branded ‘P’ that his father forced upon him.•Body Type: Mesomorphic

When he was younger, Junpei would often run about without a shirt on, claiming that shirts inhibited his movements. When he abandoned his family’s ship, he was found dressed in a black, tattered shirt and emerald green pants with no shoes.That has changed. Now, he wears the standard Marine uniform sans hat, and can occasionally be seen accompanied by Doflamingo.
Out of uniform, he wears clothing is jokingly referred to as “Buddhist” robes- black yukata robes, an emerald-colored kāṣāya, and tabi socks paired with zōri sandals. When asked why he dresses in such a fashion, he replies with a short answer of “it’s comfortable.” The truth being, rather, it is the manner of dress that the people from his home village, Janoshima, dress. The layers allow for him to conceal his weaponry- and aren’t as stifling as the Marine uniform tends to be.In terms of jewelry, the only thing he tends to wear is a single ring on his left index finger of an ouroboros.
Joining the Marines
When Junpei left his family, he swam to the nearest port and, in an act of defiance, found a Marine base, and requested to be tested to join. He explained who he was, what had happened- and gave the last known coordinates of the Sapphire Serpent.He was allowed entry.For the next year, Junpei lived among the Marines, showing his aptitude with leading- as well as having an upper hand: Haki.To the Top
While there were plenty of rumors that spread regarding to how quickly Junpei rose to his Captaincy, none were ever officially confirmed. Of course they wouldn't be; he wasn't one to fuck and tell. He received his Captaincy under the tutelage of both Smoker and Black Cage Hina- two people he considers himself quite close to, as well as Captain Orchid Kiciloff.Mission: Fujihara
His first, and continuing, Mission was to find where Fujihara Mizuki had vanished to. It took him six months to locate her and figure out her new moniker: Deadman's Daughter, a contortionist within the Buggy Pirates. However, things took a turn when a boy with a straw hat beat the infamous Buggy the Clown...New Mission: Paperwork?
For a time being, his mission was delayed due to the quick rise of the Straw Hat Pirates and the destruction they left in their wake. Here, he was able to simply relax for a bit, touch ground with old friends ( Sakazuki Remy and Drew Kiciloff, agents of the World Government ). That is, until the judicial island of Enies Lobby was destroyed by the Straw Hats-
including his younger sister.New Mission: Marineford
The next time Junpei is seen is at Marineford itself. He was stationed at Marineford with his men. He stood strong, watching the chaos unfold as his men charged, though his attention was stolen by the fight between Mizuki and Kiyomi. When asked by Borsalino if he’d wanted to join their little sisterly squabble, he declined; he had no ties to that family any longer. To which Borsalino then asked why he kept looking at Ayame like he wanted to free her?Junpei did not answer.When Malekai boarded Kiyomi’s ship, he began to feel sick, wondering if Malekai was going to toy with Kiyomi the same way he tended to toy with all of his victims. He did still in shock when she screamed, a sound heard clearly over the shouts of the fighting below. He took a step forward, only to be reminded of his position quickly- and remained where he stood.Even as Mai fired into the crowd, taking down Marine after Marine with terrifying accuracy. Headshots; no hope of surviving. When Junpei finally entered the fray, he took care of his poor opponents quickly with his armament haki, though his mind was trained on where his family was. Itsuki and Izumi were in the crowd.Where was Kai?Junpei was pushed back to the platform- where Ace and Ayame were being held…[ to be finished when I finish Marineford ]
Once a Snake...
In the Aftermath of Marineford, Junpei's loyalties are shaken. His aunt had been killed- the Empress of his people had been killed by Akainu, the same man who had killed her husband ten years prior. Due to this, Junpei found himself questioning whether this was the hill he wished to die upon- or if his original plan should come to fruition...Janoshima Arc

When Suma was born, he became her primary protector from their parent’s wrath, oftentimes protecting her with his own body when she had joined them on the ship.After Mizuki murdered their parents, he abandoned ship. He attempted to take Suma with him, but was stopped by Kiyomi from proceeding. In order to save his own life, he jumped ship, stealing a dingy and rowing until he couldn’t any longer. He was later picked up by a Marine vessel. He has shown regret in leaving Suma behind, though those regrets have grown fewer and farther between over the last decade.He’s also dealt with an internal battle over his sexual identity, something he’s only recently come to terms with. Growing up, it was drilled into him by his father and mother, when she had been alive, that his purpose was to marry into an affluent family, to have his wife take the Fujihara name, and solidify the family’s hold in the East Blue by having more children.Instead, he found himself having crushes and feelings for the other male members of the crew- something he tried to force down with ale and a pretty girl on his lap. It didn’t work, for obvious reasons.

Her thick, dark hair falls to just above her shoulders in numerous layers; her bangs are cut bluntly across her forehead, falling just beneath her eyebrows and above her eyes. Her skin is a clear honey tone with subtle red undertones, though it holds a few beauty marks. One above her right eyebrow, one beneath her right eye, and one beneath her left eye. After Kiyomi kicked her off of the ship, Mizuki had to find her own way. For months, she traveled on her own, working small jobs here and there for a few coins, sleeping in fields- doing what she had to to survive. Then, one night, her luck changed.A Marine vessel had ported, and some loose lipped Marines let it slide that there was a legendary fruit on board: the Hebi Hebi no Mi: Model Viper. It was if her stars had aligned at last! Sneaking on board was easy; a bit of makeup, freshened up a touch with a dress stolen from a shop, bat her eyelashes a few times and whisper that she'd never seen a Marine vessel up close...The man wound up at the bottom of the port, and Mizuki in his uniform. She climbed aboard with ease and wound her way through the halls, as if being called by the Devil Fruit. She found it- an odd lime green with yellow splotches. Kiyomi and Mizuki begin their battle, with Mizuki yelling that she had waited for this moment for years. The fight ensues with Kiyomi striking out- only to miss, turn, and be met with Mizuki lunging. Mizuki, in their years apart, had obtained the Hebi Hebi no Mi: Model Viper fruit, which left her with an advanced attack speed and serpentine-like movements.Mizuki, in the end, cuts off Kiyomi’s left hand- though, not all the way, leaving it hanging on by mere tendons. Kiyomi, in an act of enraged desperation- as her ship is on fire, the Big Top is starting to catch fire, the Summit War is happening all around them and something tells her that this is only the beginning- cuts off her own hand the rest of the way.Mizuki has to deal with her- pardon, BUGGY’s ship being caught aflame- and with the attention she’d brought upon them…

Near the end of the two-year timeskip, Mizuki arrives back at Gravedigger Island, set upon asking Marigold where Suma and the map were. What she hadn't anticipated was Suma being there, waiting for her on the beach.A fight ensued after Suma told her that she would not hand over the map. Mizuki lunged first, and Suma fired off two warning shots at her feet. Suma slid off of the rock she had been perched on and began to run across the sand as Mizuki transformed. The first explosion to go off caught Mizuki off guard, burning her side.Explosion after explosion rocks the beach, drawing the attention of Drew, who arrives mere moments after Mizuki slices through Suma's stomach. Drew fires off a warning shot at first, drawing their attentions and giving Suma an escape. The next shot fired hits Mizuki in her shoulder.
